The Churches of Christ are congregations of Christian people who love God, each other, and their neighbors. As a body of believers in Christ, we are devoted to the ideal of restoring the church, as it existed in the days of the apostles. We earnestly attempt to preach the same message, worship as they worshipped, live as they lived and work as they worked.
The Highlands Ranch congregation began in mid-2000 with only 22 members. We have grown to over 100. We have simultaneously planted two Spanish speaking congregations in Denver, and have become involved in missions in Latin America and in the Ukraine. Under the loving guidance of our four elders and six deacons, everyone finds the care, direction, and challenge that they need for today's busy world.
Our overall purpose and mission is to glorify the Creator of the universe, our God, Jehovah (Romans 5:5-6). As His people we will declare His praises (I Pet. 2:9) and teach and encourage all men, women and children to glorify Him (Romans 15:7-13). We will live under His sovereignty and serve only Him (Exodus 20:3 & John 13:13). We will love Him with all our heart, soul, and mind and love our neighbor as Jesus loved us (Matthew 22:36-40).
